About
Rebecca Cobis

  • Rebecca, MOTR/L is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience in acute rehabilitation, home care, and pediatrics. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals recovering from neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, spinal cord injuries, and brain injuries, helping them regain independence and participate in meaningful daily activities.

  • As a pediatric nature-based occupational therapist, Rebecca is excited to combine her clinical experience with her passion for the outdoors. She believes that nature provides endless opportunities for children to build confidence, develop new skills, and foster meaningful connections through play and exploration.  Rebecca understands that her experience in evaluating and treating balance, coordination, postural control, sensory integration and executive functioning applies across the lifespan and is excited to translate these skills in the pediatric setting.

  • Outside of work, Rebecca is a mom to two adventurous boys. Together with their Labrador Retriever, Winnie, they enjoy camping, beach days, hiking, and exploring new places. Their family has embraced the 1,000 Hours Outside challenge and has begun the adventure of visiting U.S. National Parks, starting with Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
