Kimberly DeLaura

Kimberly DeLaura, MS, OTR/L, is the dedicated owner and a hands-on occupational therapist at her practice. Her academic journey began at Sacred Heart University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from 2005 to 2009. She didn’t stop there; she returned to Sacred Heart to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy between 2010 and 2012. Kimberly is not only NBCOT certified but also an active member of the AOTA, showcasing her commitment to her profession.

Kimberly’s expertise is broad and deep, with several specialty certifications under her belt. She’s trained in the ConTiGO Approach, Animal Assisted Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), CPR/First Aid, and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She also holds certifications in Primitive Reflex Testing, Nerve Point, Therapeutic Listening Protocol, and Handwriting Without Tears. This diverse skill set allows her to provide comprehensive and innovative care to her clients.

In 2022, motivated by a concern for declining health trends among children, Kimberly launched EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy. Her goal is to bring children and their families closer to nature, believing in its power to heal and promote well-being.

Outside of her professional life, Kimberly’s love for the outdoors shines through. She spends her spare time enjoying nature with her family, whether they’re hiking trails, relaxing at the beach, or exploring the mountains. Her personal and professional lives are both guided by a deep belief in the benefits of connecting with the natural world.
